Public & Professional outreach
Our group frequently leads (in-person & virtual) activities related to polymer science and engineering at events including Introduce a Girl to Engineering, Spartan Girl Engineers, and the High School Engineering Institute.
Caroline is also a leader within the Women in Chemical Engineering (WIC) Community of the AIChE (WIC Chair, 2024). Through her involvement with this community she promotes and supports women in the Chemical Engineering community. This includes by developing new technical programming and webinars featuring female leaders in the profession, and most recently the WIC community has launched a membership survey to address dependent care needs at AIChE meetings.
